FrameCal - Features and Functionality

FrameCal offers many customizable features for implementation on your site. Different variables can be set to match up with the color scheme on your site, font information, user configuration, etc. Some of these are outlined below. Here is an outline of some of the features, customization options, and functionality of the FrameCal calendar.

Administration:
	Online administration of users - delete accounts, register accounts, and set security levels for accounts, all within the script.
	Modify or delete any posted event.
Three Security Levels:
	Public: View calendar and events only.
	User: View calendar and events; Add events; Modify or Delete Owned Events.
	Admin: View calendar and events; Add events; Modify or Delete Any Events; Delete Users; Register Users; Set Access Levels for Users.
	Or, setup a public calendar, where no login is required. Users supply their names and email addresses when adding events.
	Setup the calendar for either immediate access on registration, or approval based registration where the user submits registration information, and then must wait until it is approved by an administrator before gaining access to the calendar.
	Define the default access level users are assigned when they register.
Customization Options
	Customization of link colors, backgrounds, basefonts, hi-lighting text colors, etc., for the pages generated by the script.
	Variables to set frame names.
	Varying e-mail options, including notification of administrator of new events and users, notifying users of account status with the calendar, and ability to select other registered users to notify, on a per event basis, when events are added, modified, or deleted.
	Use cookies to login users automatically.
	Strip HTML from posts, or leave it in.
	Allow the addition of external links for events.
	Use categories to filter events.
	And many, many more!
Improved Functionality
	Keyword searches for events in the databases.
	Add complex, or recurring, events to the calendar, with admin defined maximum number of events per posting.
	Deletion of multiple events at one time.
	For rapid movement through the calendar, the use of frames allows the month layout to always be in view, allowing for rapid navigation through many events.
